Sunday's Challenge Cup 2nd round action saw Prenton Park make their exit after a solitary strike from Carl Spratt earned Premier Division rivals, Neston, the nod and on the district scene, Sheridans and Ravenscroft failed to nail Wirral & District FA Sunday Junior Cuip semi-final spots, after they both went down 5-3 in extra time to Sutton Melfix and FC Ellies repectively.
It may be late in the season, but two clubs hoping to steal a march on their rivals by attracting interested players for the closing stages of this campaign, are MSC Eastham and TSF.
